This hand-carved sculptural vessel is made from stoneware clay, and has a silky smooth ,matte glazed surface. Inspired by the Piwakawaka, a still capture of a  beloved New Zealand native bird. Designed as a sculptural piece this vessel can be used as a vase, as it is glazed on the inside.
